Where does my payment go? Is my card data safe?

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, a Merchant of Record handling tax and compliance in 200+ countries. PaneTrans never sees your card details — your data stays in Dodo's PCI-compliant infrastructure.

What's the difference between Lifetime and Monthly?

Lifetime is a single $14.99 payment for permanent access — including all future model updates. Monthly is $2.99/mo, cancellable any time. Lifetime breaks even after 5 months.

Can I use Pro on multiple computers?

Yes. After purchase you'll receive a license key by email. Activate it on as many of your personal browsers as you need.

How do refunds work?

Does PaneTrans send any data to your servers?

On the Free and Pro tiers, no translation data leaves your browser — the only requests are model downloads (Hugging Face) and license validation. The optional Cloud tier is the exception: when you use it, the text you translate is sent to our server to produce the translation (we meter usage but don't store the text). All of this is documented in the privacy policy.

What is the Cloud tier, and is it private?

Cloud ($4.99/mo) runs translation on a hosted large language model (MiMo) instead of a local one — top quality, no download, any device, with streaming output. Unlike the on-device tiers, using Cloud sends the text you translate to our server (and our model provider) to generate the result; we don't store it afterward. The Free and Pro tiers stay 100% on-device. Don't use Cloud for text you can't share with a third-party processor.
