I’m Pelican, a developer who builds products on my own. I like making small AI tools people actually use — especially the kind where your data stays on your own phone or computer instead of going up to the cloud.
Mostly that means iPhone apps and Chrome extensions: FernBudget, an expense tracker, and MoTi, which finds the answer to a question you photograph, are on the App Store; PaneTrans, a translation extension, and X Bot Blocker, which blocks spam accounts on X, are on the Chrome Web Store. I write open-source tools along the way too.
This site holds the things I’ve made, and the notes I take while making them.

Roughly in order of what I’m best at.
- Get your app built and shipped
- You’ve got an idea, or a web version already, but you’re stuck turning it into an iPhone app and getting it on the App Store — that part I can handle.
- AI that doesn’t go to the cloud
- AI that runs entirely on the user’s own device, with nothing sent out. Good for legal, medical or finance work that can’t go to the cloud.
- Add AI to what you already have
- Wire AI into your existing product so it actually works — and the code is yours when we’re done.
- A working prototype in two weeks
- Fixed price, a real clickable prototype in two weeks, code yours. For when you want to test an idea fast.
- Automate the repetitive stuff
- Hand the daily repetitive work over to a machine — and I can keep it running for you afterwards.
- Build a Chrome extension
- Web automation, handy little tools, AI inside the browser — from idea to store listing.
